Support
SleepTyme is built and maintained by SNE Interactive LLC. We answer every support email personally, usually within 1 business day. For App Store-related issues (refunds, billing, subscription management), please contact Apple Support directly — they handle those, not us.
Email us
For bug reports, feature requests, or general questions:
Please include your iPhone model, iOS version, and the SleepTyme version (Settings → SleepTyme inside the iOS Settings app). It helps us reproduce issues fast.
Troubleshooting
The alarm didn't ring
Two things to check:
- Media volume. Apple doesn't let any app override your system volume. If your media volume slider is at 0 (often happens after a quiet music session before bed), the alarm plays at 0 volume. SleepTyme shows an orange warning banner when you arm an alarm with media volume below 30% — heed it.
- Notifications permission. When you arm an alarm for the first time, SleepTyme requests notification permission. If you tap "Don't Allow," the fallback notification path is disabled. Re-enable from Settings → Notifications → SleepTyme.
The alarm rang at constant volume, no fade-in
Make sure you're on SleepTyme 1.0 (7) or later. Earlier builds had a fade-in bug where the curve was linear instead of cubic — the change wasn't perceptible. Update via TestFlight or the App Store.
The alarm doesn't ring with the silent switch on
This should work — SleepTyme's audio session category bypasses the Ring/Silent switch. If it doesn't ring through silent mode, please email us with your iPhone model and iOS version. Most likely an iOS bug we can work around.
HealthKit permission keeps prompting
If you tapped "Don't Allow" on the HealthKit permission once, iOS won't show the prompt again. Re-enable manually from Settings → Privacy & Security → Health → SleepTyme.
I bought SleepTyme Pro on one device — how do I unlock it on another?
SleepTyme Pro is a non-consumable purchase tied to your Apple ID. On any device signed into the same Apple ID:
- Open SleepTyme
- Tap the "Unlock SleepTyme Pro" banner
- On the paywall sheet, tap "Restore Purchase"
Pro features unlock immediately. Family Sharing also works — your purchase covers up to 5 family-shared Apple IDs.
I want a refund
Refunds for App Store purchases are handled exclusively by Apple. Go to reportaproblem.apple.com and find your SleepTyme Pro purchase. Apple processes most reasonable refund requests for app purchases within 48 hours.
The Apple Watch app doesn't show up on my watch
Make sure both these are true:
- iPhone is paired with your Apple Watch
- SleepTyme is installed on iPhone (the Watch app is bundled with the iPhone app — it auto-installs to the paired watch)
- In the Apple Watch app on iPhone → My Watch → scroll to "Available Apps" → tap Install next to SleepTyme
If it still doesn't appear, restart your watch. iOS sometimes needs a nudge to deploy companion apps.
What devices does SleepTyme support?
- iPhone running iOS 17 or later
- Apple Watch running watchOS 10 or later (companion app)
- iPad supported but optimized for iPhone
Feature requests
We're actively developing SleepTyme. The public roadmap on GitHub shows what's coming. Have an idea? Email us — small team, fast turnaround, real humans reading.
Currently planned:
- v1.2 — HealthKit sleep read with personal cycle calibration
- v1.3 — Smart Wake Window (alarm fires during light sleep within a 30-min window)
- v1.4 — Apple Intelligence weekly sleep coach
